Overview of Activities
Content in the Activities Panel can provide data to help you decide whether to pursue a company and opportunities with it (based on aggregated data indicating their response level and interest).
Your system administrator defines incoming and outgoing activities as well as the activity groups, types, which ones are actively monitored, etc. Outgoing activities are those initiated by someone at your firm (e.g., newsletters, event invitations, etc.). Incoming activities are initiated by someone at the target company (e.g., RSVP, event attendance, etc.).
The Activities panel provides data on the activities between the firm and the target company. You can toggle between the Summary view and the List View. The data in the panel can be filtered [e.g., by activity group or all, date range, company contacts, etc.]. It differentiates outgoing activities, incoming activities and total activities.
The Summary view includes an area chart (by default) and defaults to activities over the last year, although other periods can be selected. It also provides counts for outgoing activities, incoming activities, and total activities.
In the List view, all rows are clickable for details and all columns are sortable.
Both views can be filtered further. Click the Filters icon to select the activity group(s) [up to 5], date range, or the company contacts in the dropdown.
